Our Take on Nimeta Baar
Suur-Karja runs short and loud through the southern edge of Tallinn's Old Town, and at number 4 the noise has a name that refuses to be one. Nimeta Baar opened as the Pub With No Name, and the screens have barely gone dark since. In Your Pocket files it as wall to wall sport by day and a DJ room with dancing after midnight on weekends.
This is the room for a match, not a quiet pint. Tripadvisor reviewers call it the place to watch football in Tallinn, with loads of screens and food at really reasonable prices, and the happy hour pours two drinks for the price of one.
Anyone hunting candlelight should walk two streets over. Stag parties find this room reliably, more than one Tripadvisor review files it under exactly that heading, and the pub does not apologize for it.
Reading the Room
One long ground floor room papered in televisions, with the bar running deep enough to absorb a full away end. The furniture exists to point you at a screen, and on big match nights every seat does.
After midnight on Fridays and Saturdays the tables push back and the same room becomes a dance floor, a shift In Your Pocket has documented for years.
The Menu, Edited

Who Shows Up, and When
Expats, locals, and travelers share the room, per In Your Pocket, with the sports crowd holding daylight hours and a louder, younger shift arriving with the weekend DJs.
A June 2026 In Your Pocket commenter counts more lads than lasses at the screens; weekend nights tilt the other way once the dancing starts.
