wine · Casual Pompette is the casual Vesterbro natural-wine room that pulled the format off the high-concept pedestal and back into neighbourhood drinking. The list is short, French-leaning, and rotates faster than any other entry on this list — eight to ten new references per week, every one of them poured by a bartender who has tasted it that morning.

The food is two or three small plates done well. The room is small, late-running and unselfconsciously local. It ranks fourth for being the bar that proved Copenhagen could sustain a natural-wine room at neighbourhood prices without compromising the list, and for the by-the-glass rotation, which remains the most adventurous in the city.
