Randlords occupies the 22nd floor of the South Point office tower on De Korte Street in Braamfontein. The bar is the highest cocktail room in Johannesburg, runs a 360-degree view of the city, and is — uniquely among the JHB rooftop bars — a venue you reach through a working office-building elevator. The ride up is part of the visit. Six floors, ground to top.
Randlords runs from 5pm to midnight Wednesday through Saturday. The view is at its best during golden hour (around 5pm March-April and June-September) and again after 7.30pm when the city lights are on. Reservations through the bar's website; minimum spend is enforced on Friday and Saturday from 8pm. The DJ runs from around 10pm onward and the room shifts toward club energy.
