Henrietta — Mile End

Henrietta is the Mile End neighbourhood cocktail-and-snack room from chef Marc-André Royal — small, warm, with a tight bar programme that punches above the room's modest scale.

The bar runs about a dozen original cocktails plus a strong wine-by-the-glass list — natural, mostly French, well-poured. Kitchen is European-ish with a serious tartare and a celebrated whole roasted carrot.

Reservations via website. Bar seats walk-in if you arrive before 6:30pm.
