    Bar Augusta Tarlogie has been operating in Kitashinchi since 1974 and is the senior whisky bar in Osaka. The basement room is preserved Showa-era and the barten Eat somewhere with serious bartending built in. The right room is one you order both your dinner and your nightcap from.

    Bar Aurora Osaka

    Bar Aurora opened in Umeda in 2018 and has built a steady following. The room is small and modern — pale wood, soft lighting, around 25 seats — and the cocktail The bar that made you book the trip. The pre-research one. Reservation-only ideally. Stay until last call.

    Bar Brillant Osaka

    Sunday 14:00 — Brunch cocktail · City centre · $$$$ · Cocktail Bars

    Bar Brillant is on the fourth floor of a Kitashinchi building and operates as a wine bar with a serious Champagne focus. The list runs to around 200 Champagnes Mary, Mimosa, or whatever low-ABV house play the room runs. Eat. Pay. Walk.

    Bar Casablanca Osaka

    Sunday 17:00 — Last quiet drink · City centre · $$$ · Cocktail Bars

    Bar Casablanca has been on the second floor of a Namba building for decades. The room is preserved Showa era — leather banquettes, jazz at low volume, vintage c Find the hotel bar at your departure airport equivalent — somewhere quiet, low-volume, well-staffed. End the trip on a martini and a clean conversation.

The plan starts polished on Friday night and peaks Saturday late. We've left Sunday afternoon for recovery, a brunch cocktail, and a quiet last drink before you fly out. Every stop is editor-picked and walkable from at least one of the others.

Total spend across the weekend: roughly £200-£350 per person on drinks alone (not counting food). Reservations are essential at any room flagged 'destination'. Book those first; the rest you can walk to.
