Alma Cocina de Nadie

Wine Bars $$

The most pedagogically minded by-the-glass programme in the city, with food deliberately built to argue with the wine.

+ small plates Alma Cocina de Nadie is a quietly serious Villa Crespo room run by chef Camila Russo and sommelier Mateo Lamberti, opened in 2022 on Murillo and built around a fifteen-reference rotating list that aims to teach rather than impress. The wine bias is toward small Mendoza producers — Matías Riccitelli, Per Se, Krontiras — paired with a tight kitchen of seasonal small plates that the floor team will deliberately mismatch with the wine to make a point.

The room is twenty seats and books up by Thursday. Ranks fourth because the programme is opinionated in the best sense and the wine-to-food integration is the most thoughtful in BA.
