Osaka counter-bar etiquette
Osaka counter bars are quieter and more disciplined than Tokyo's. Don't talk loudly; don't take photos without asking; don't tip. Tell the bartender the spirit you're in the mood for and a flavour profile (something stirred, something tropical) and let them build it from there. Reservations are essential at most. Beer Belly is the craft beer counterpoint when you need a break from spirits.
